The Multi positional joint is commonly fitted to a standoff or height adjustor body to allow it to be used at varying heights.
Fixture Components can be fitted into either of the female threaded holes in the Multi positional joint. The rotational position can then be set allowing components to be used at various rotational positions.
The Multi positional joint is manufactured in two parts; the two parts rotate about a central cap screw allowing the part with the female threaded holes to be rotated through 360 degrees while the other part remains in a fixed position. The rotation mechanism has 16 equally spaced locking positions at 22.5° increments.
The Multi Positional joint is screwed onto a base component (typicaly a standoff) using the Capscrew and Allen Key. The rotational position is then adjusted by loosening the central M8 capscrew, rotating the body into one of the 16 locating positions and then locked in position by re-tightening the capscrew.
Any of the fixture components with male threads can then be screwed into either of the Multi Positional joints female M8 holes, tightened in position by hand.
In order to fully appreciate the way in which this component is used we recommend that you view the ‘typical applications page’ in the product catalogue, manual or on our website at http://www.leecosfixture.com
For general cleaning, a mild soap and water solution can be used applied with a cloth or sponge. For removal of grease or oily deposits methylated spirits can be applied with a cloth or sponge. In both cases the part should be finally rinsed in cold water and thoroughly dried.
