The Sliding Spring Clamp can be used in conjunction with number of fixture components to create clamping assemblies.
The Sliding Spring Clamp comprises of three components; the ‘body’, the ‘spring arm’ and the ‘thumb screw’ all parts are supplied assembled. The sliding spring clamp is used in conjunction with the LEE-15 Tension Post and locates onto the post via the 6mm diameter hole. The Sliding Spring Clamp can be positioned at any point along the body of the Post and is fixed in position by tightening the Thumb Screw.
The spring arm should initially be positioned in tension against the workpiece to hold it in place. The workpiece is released by lifting the spring arm away from the workpiece by hand. Care should be taken not to over extend the spring arm as it could become permanently distorted.
