The Height adjustor body is used to provide fine height adjustment when a standard standoff doesn’t give the exact height required and is commonly used to locate and support work pieces of irregular shape. The Adjustable Height Standoff can be screwed into the base plate, standoff or any of the adjustable components. It allows the work piece to be raised away from the baseplate giving maximum access to all faces. Any of the locating, clamping or adjusting components can be screwed into the standoff female threaded end, allowing them to carry out their functions at the required height.
The Adjustable Height Standoff comprises of two components; the ‘body’ and the ‘nut’ the main bodies Male thread is screwed into the mating components female thread. The height setting is determined by the depth at which the Male thread is screwed into the mating part. The nut is then used to lock the body in position by tightening it up against the mating component.
In order to fully appreciate the way in which this component is used we recommend that you view the ‘typical applications page’ in the product catalogue, manual or on our website at http://www.leecosfixture.com
Hard Anodized aluminium is extremely durable, as the anodizing process helps to harden and coat the metal. This process helps to create a tarnish-resistant surface that can remain like new for years, but over time, even hard anodized aluminium will begin to naturally scratch and fade. You can offset these effects with regular cleaning, which helps to brighten the surface and maintain its natural sheen.
For general cleaning, a mild soap and water solution can be used applied with a cloth or sponge. For removal of grease or oily deposits methylated spirits can be applied with a cloth or sponge. In both cases the part should be finally rinsed in cold water and thoroughly dried.
