The Slider screws directly onto the baseplate and provides adjustment in the X – Y directions, allowing any component with a Male thread to be screwed into it and positioned exactly as required.
The Adjustable Slider Block is commonly used when the standoff X – Y position needs to be finely adjusted because the baseplate hole spacing doesn’t provide the exact locating position on its own.
The Slider is screwed directly onto the base plate using the LEE-30 Thumb Screw. The LEE-30 Thumb Screws male thread fits through the 8.5mm wide slot in the slider block, the head of the thumb screw is then tightened against the top face of the slider, locking the slider in the desired position. Any component with an Male thread can then be screwed into the female thread in the slider.
The LEE-30 thumb screw is tightened by hand, only minimal force is needed when tightening. Over tightening can damage the component threads.
In order to fully appreciate the way in which this component is used we recommend that you view the ‘typical applications page’ in the product catalogue, manual or on our website at www.leecosfixture.com
Hard Anodized aluminium is extremely durable, as the anodizing process helps to harden and coat the metal. This process helps to create a tarnish-resistant surface that can remain like new for years, but over time, even hard anodized aluminium will begin to naturally scratch and fade. You can offset these effects with regular cleaning, which helps to brighten the surface and maintain its natural sheen.
For general cleaning, a mild soap and water solution can be applied with a cloth or sponge. For removal of grease or oily deposits methylated spirits can be applied with a cloth or sponge. In both cases the part should be finally rinsed in cold water and thoroughly dried.
